Africa is in good trouble as now the hardship seems to be extending to almost all the countries in the continent, all in the name of failure in leadership. On Onua Maakye this morning Captain Smart has declared a meeting held by ECOWAS in Ghana, Accra yesterday as the most useless meeting ever held in the world and also his own President Nana Akufo-Addo is a coward and does not fit for a leader.
He said the whole members form a collage of jokes and they are all a disgrace to Africa and humanity. He says where was ECOWAS when Ivory Coast was being cheated on by their President, where was ECOWAS when Mali, Cameroon and the others were struggling at the expense of their leaders, where was ECOWAS? And now they had a gut to hold a meeting in Accra all because of the Guinea coup.
The meeting was held to be able to strategise how best they could engage the coup leader to release the overthrown president Alpha Conde. But Captain Smart says it is useless and he is not going to release him now and forever.
Captain Smart says he was sitting at his office watching all that was happening. He said some of the members were even sleeping at the meeting to prove how useless they were. He quoted Dr Kwame Nkrumah saying “Any leader who sleeps at a meeting is a goat”. How can a whole ECOWAS hold a meeting and allow only 33 people to watch?
He added that Nana Akufo-Addo is a coward for allowing such to happen in Ghana, knowing that they never did anything about Alpha Conde changing their constitution.
