As we already know, the consumption of sugar is something that has long been a brouhaha across the world. Many people believed that moderate consumption of sugar can put them in the safe zone as far as a healthy life is a concern.

However, recent findings have come to realize that consuming even a moderate amount of certain types of sugar can put us at a greater risk of death.

The research

According to Medical news today, a study that involved 93 healthy men volunteers between the age of 18-23 was carried for the researchers to confirm their findings in 2013 and 2016.

In the studies, participants were started with a 4-weeks-sugar-free after which they were tasked with consuming beverages sweetened with sugar (fructose, glucose and sucrose) 3 times a day. However, a fourth badge was asking to abstain from the sugary beverage.

How sugar affects the liver

In a nutshell, those who took the sugary beverages especially the type that was sweetened by fructose had a doubled fat production as compared to the others.

What’s interesting is that the study found that, beverage sweetened with sucrose (also known as table sugar which human mostly take) boosted fat production much higher than the fructose.

Sucrose is the type of sugar that you normally add to your breakfast and other food. Consuming even a moderate amount can have a great impact on your health.

In this case, it doubles fat production which can even lead to more dangerous health issues like fatty liver problems, type-2-diabetes, cardiovascular or heart problems.

What to eat for a fatty liver?

As we have seen, a fatty liver can mean great health problems and so it is important to know which food can help you stay on the safe side as you consume your sugar.

The following are some foods that can control the level of sugar intake and put your liver in a safe condition.

3. Coffee
