We all agree that bananas are very sweet especially when ripe. With its natural sugar, it’s absolutely one of the healthiest foods on the planet. It’s a rich source of vitamins and minerals.
1. Banana
The only problem with banana is when eaten in excess. Tyramine is one of the chemical found bananas that should be limited in the body. Increased tyramine in the body causes mild headaches and that is why it’s advisable to eat at most two bananas a day.
2. Blueberries in excess
Excessive consumption of blueberries can bring some health complications. Excessive consumption of blueberries tends to lower glucose in your blood which may lead to diabetic infections. That is why doctors often advice patients not to take blueberries anytime they are under medication.
3. Broccoli in excess
Always ensure that you have a controlled amount of intake of broccoli. Broccoli contains thiocyanate which help in the formation of thyroid hormones. Thyroid hormone may cause hair loss and skin rashes when produced in excess. The only way to control the production of thyroid hormone is by limiting excessive consumption of broccoli.
4. Rice in excess
Rice should not be consumed in excess for healthy reasons. Excessive consumption of rice increases insulin levels in the body. When insulin is in high levels in the body, affects the cognitive ability of the brain which may affect performance.
5. Cheese in excess
When cheese is consumed in excess, you’re likely going to have heart problems. Cheese contains lots of fats which should be controlled in the body. It may also lead to constant heart burns when consumed in excess.
6. Oats in excess
When oats are consumed in excess, you’re likely to have constipation problems. This is because with excessive consumption of oats, minerals will not be easily absorbed by the body. When minerals like magnesium and zinc are not absorbed, constipation is inevitable.
