It was all fun when Ghana’s Dancehall King Shatta Wale finally made it to the Ankaful Maximum prisons where he is serving his remand.
Inmates at Ankaful who were blessed with the presence of one of Ghana’s biggest musicians could not hide their joy.
They chanted the name of the crowd puller who in turn showed them, love, by returning their shouts as he was been sent to begin his remand.
Videos from the prison compound have since hit social media and in the video one will realize that the Prison officers were giving Shatta Wale all the protection he could get.
Shatta Wale was remanded for one week after he was arrested and arraigned before court for faking that he had been shot.
The musician’s defence to what he did was that his life was in danger and that what he did is the only thing to keep him safe and also help bring to rest doom prophecies in Ghana but some Pastors.
He was remanded together with three members of his team who are said to have played roles in the musician’s hoax.
