2. Salt
Too much consumption of salt can cause hypertension as it narrows the blood vessels, this makes the heart try harder to pump blood throughout the body, which further increases hypertension.
3. Sugar
Too much sugar intake can lead to weight gain which is a risk factor for hypertension or high blood pressure.
4. Processed foods
Processed foods contain too much salt, an ingredient that makes your blood pressure increase. Kindly reduce your salt consumption by avoiding this kind of foods.
