A piece of information available has it that residents of Upper West Region are expected to see the usual price for sachet water increase in the coming days.
According to a reliable source, the Upper West Regional Branch of Sachet and Package Water Producers Association has come out with a new price for a package of sachet water taken effect on 14th June 2021.
Speaking to the press,chairman of the Association Alhaji Mahama Toiba said “undoubtedly we all understand and can bear testimony of increase in fuel, electricity, labour and materials for production and it has also compelled us to increase each package and we expecting retailers to sell a sachet for thirty Ghana pesewas because it would be difficult for them to transact or sell at twenty five pesewas because of change.
However, it is possible selling two sachet for fifty pesewas by retailers”Alhaji Mahama Toiba is popularly called chairman Toiba who is a large producer of “Zam Zam” sachet water in the region and also won several awards in sachet water manufacturing in Ghana.
