It’s that perfect boost when we are tired or it’s a sunny day.
I perfectly agree that coke is a good appetizer to us however there are 3 sets of people who should desist from taking it frequently as their health conditions don’t go with it.
Coke is made from carbonated waters, sugar, caffeine, phosphoric acid. This forms the basic ingredients for its production.
Now take a look at all the ingredients, you would realise that none is actually so good for man and has very low nutrients.
In as much as we love to drink coke, it’s not so good for our health.
Below are medical conditions that shouldn’t go with frequent drinking of coke
Diabetes
It’s a condition that causes higher than normal blood sugar levels affecting your heart, nerves, blood vessels and kidneys.
Type 2 diabetes is more common in adults.
A diabetes patient is said to avoid sugars, a regular 100ml coke contains 10grams of sugar.
Just imagine consuming this amount of sugars regularly, your health conditions would definitely worsen.
As a diabetic patient, you should take lots of water in place of sodas.
Ulcer
The ulcer is a sore that develops on the lining of the oesophagus, stomach or small intestine.
Ulcers occur when stomach acid damages the lining of the digestive tract
Ulcer patients aren’t advised to take caffeine, alcohol and acidic foods and coke have all of these in its content.
Coke also has a relatively high amount of sugar which could likely upset the stomach of ulcer patients.
Obesity
Overweight and obesity are defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health.
When you’re obese, you need to cut down on your calorie intake. Coke does have a relatively high amount of calories and drinking it regularly would result in added weight.
