Groups of secondary school students in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State have today caused a lot of mixed reactions on social media after they were spotted partying and drinking alcohol after they allegedly completed their West African Examinations Council exams on Thursday morning.
A popular social media outlet in Uyo – Media Boyfriend posted some photos of a group of allegedly secondary students drinking and partying with bears and other alcoholic drinks, while another different set was also spotted with dirty uniforms as they seem to have condemned their secondary school uniforms after completing their final secondary school examination.
And reacting to the photos, many have questions about why young children who are labeled as the leaders of tomorrow should be partying with alcohol in the name of celebrating their secondary school exam completion. Some however said that it is a normal thing to celebrate with drinks on final secondary exams day, as you might not meet your classmates again after that day.
