Report convened has it that the ministry of education has made known when students’ placement list would be made available to the public.
Our portal has established that the much-awaited 2020 placement of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) students will be released early or mid-February 2021, according to Educationweb’s report.
The report says the 2020 school placement has delayed amid the new ministerial appointment at the Ministry of Education (MoE).
He said currently Ghana has no Education Minister however the immediate past Education Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is acting as the President’s representative at the Ministry of Education (MoE).
According to him, the BECE school placement if not out before the vetting of the Education Minister-designate, Dr Yaw Adutwum will be out after he has been approved as the Minister of Education somewhere mid-February 2021.
The Parliament in a statement sighted by Educationweb.com.gh indicated the Bosomtwe Member of Parliament will be vetted on February 11, 2021.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) in a statement has said preparations are ongoing towards the release of the delayed SHS school placement. It urged candidates and parents to remain calm as they release it in due course.
