Recently former Chelsea midfield maestro Willian saw his contract terminated by Arsenal after two unsuccessful seasons with the London club and this incident stirred mixed reactions on social media.
The Brazilian international who won the Uefa Europa cup with Chelsea in 2019 alongside Giroud and Eden hazard is currently without a club as Arsenal has reportedly terminated his contract at the club.
Willian was one of Chelsea’s star players during his time in Stamford Bridge where he won several trophies including the premier league and Uefa Europa cup as well.
Reports have it that the Brazilian midfielder was given a one-year contract at Chelsea during the time of former Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard but he rejected and went on to accept Arsenal’s 3 years contract.
