Massive Reactions As John Mahama Shares Old Picture Of Himself During National Service Days

Former President John Dramani Mahama has shared a picture of himself during National Service. Under the picture he also added that he empathize with the National Service personnels today. He has pleaded on the government to pay their arrears or allowance.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, 17th May 2022, he wrote;

“Boys to Men.

National Service years.

From right to left: JM, Adam Mahama (deceased), Joe Mara, Issah Turn-up (deceased). 

I empathize with National Service personnel today. We have all passed through the scheme before. Please pay them the arrears of their allowances.”

The picture of JM has received many reactions.

A user named DK Esinam wrote;

“Your smile has always been with you. Put this kind of smile on the faces of Ghanaians upon second return.”

Others also praised him for raising the National Service Personnels allowance during his tenure.

Others also called on President Akufo-Addo to also share his National Service days picture.

While others were praising him, others also shared their complains of not receiving their allowance. A user wrote;

“The good old days, that small alawa too government don’t want to pay them like they did to us those days in the YEA agency”.
