Some parents of students of Islamic Senior High School have stormed the campus, demanding release of their wards.
This follows a student protest that resulted in firing of shots by the police.
It was earlier reported that the Police allegedly fired live bullets and tear gas to disperse students of Islamic Senior High School in Kumasi during a demonstration.
According to reports by Citi TV, more than 30 of the students have been reportedly rushed to the hospital and several are still waiting to receive medical attention.
Some parents of the affected students stormed the school to take their wards to the hospital. Unfortunately for them, the authorities refused to allow the parents have access to the kids for security reasons.
