This March for justice was the idea of the NDC to seek justice for lives lost after #Fixthecountry demonstration was denied for several times.
The Ningo Prampram MP, Samuel Nartey George, has questioned the rationale behind having the military at the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) demonstration.
According to Samuel Nartey, the police service can lead and supervise the demonstration and therefore they don’t need any soldiers escort.
He therefore added that, the military has not been trained for crowd control so he don’t understand why there are on the roads of their demonstration.
“If we see any soldier on the road, we’ll treat you like criminal and hand you over to the police”. Samuel Nartey George warned the soldiers.
They don’t want what happened at Ejura to happen again is better for soldiers to make the police do their job else, people will conclude that, there were sent there by the president which may not be true.
