The Korowai is also called the Kolufo, are the people who live in southeastern West Papua in the Indonesian province of Papua, close to the border with Papua New Guinea. It has been claimed that the majority of the Korowai clans live in tree houses on their isolated territory, but then it has also been revealed that the Korowai had constructed the tree houses “for the benefit of overseas program-makers” and did not actually live in them.
With the advances in technology, it is difficult to imagine that we still have people living in the ancient civilization that existed during the pre-historic era. One of the most fascinating structures in this tribe is the Tree House. Trust me; this is a combination of ancient ingenuity and modern architectural acumen. The house which appears in the next image is so shocking to me. In fact, how do they manage to build and live in?
This Tribe has been also known for their hospitality; though in a primitive way. You can see the smile on the face of one of the tribe members while talking to a visitor (on yellow) from an outside tribe.

The major occupations of the Korowai people are hunting and farming, though fishing is not uncommon. This tribe has been known to be very good with a bow, arrows, and spears. Their precision index is so high that they could hit animals on motion, Is it not that fascinating?
