A visit to the area by Rainbow Radio saw several heaps of rubbish on the pavements and walkways.
At the time of our visit, a truck from Zoomlion had arrived to clear the filth.
This website gathered that the situation had been the case for years and persons who dump the refuse on the pavements and walkways do so at night.
Commuters and passersby complain of the stench anytime they use the pavements and walkways.
They want authorities to address the issue, which has remained the same for years.
