The Executive Director for Alliance for social Equity and Public accountability ( ASEPA) has apologised to the Solduers of the Ghana Armed Forces, Inspector General of Police and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo not to proceed with any legal action against him.
According to him, his claims that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s children and relatives used the Presidential jet for a shopping spree to London is false. The ASEPA Boss had Boldly lied about this claim to create unnecessary tension in the political circles.
The ASEPA Boss took to his official Facebook page to officially convey the apology. This followed few hours after soldiers of the Ghana Armed Forces came out to deny his claims and referred the case to the Inspector General of Police for further action and prosecution.
Mensah Thompson begged the Soldiers to let bygones be bygones if his words affected them and the President in any way.
Mensah Thompson was widely accused of doing propaganda and churning fake information just to score cheap political points for the opposition National Democratic Congress. His current apology has reportedly exposed his lies and hate for the ruling party and the hardworking President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
This kind of people should not be contributing towards the development of our motherland Ghana because be has misled some of us to blamed the president for doing so.
