
The Supreme Court of Ghana has rubbished the injunction Ghana Police Service placed on the FixTheCountry protest.
The initial demonstration which was scheduled on May 9, 2021 couldn’t happened after the police applied for injunction citing COVID-19 restrictions as their reasons.
The court hearing for the injunction finally happened today and the judgement went against the police.
The Supreme Court has quashed the injunction of the Ghana Police Service.
With this victory over the Police, conveyers of the FixTheCountry demonstration has fixed a new date for a massive protest on the streets of Ghana.
Saturday, June 12, 2021 is the official date for the highly anticipated massive demonstration against the government of Ghana to fix the country.
