The funeral of the deceased at Kongelay in Pokot Barat has become a dramatic scene after a man believed to have died suddenly returned home with his suitcase during the funeral.
Kangrock Muimeler’s “The Walking Dead” has reportedly been missing for weeks after traveling to Nairobi. All his family’s efforts in his search were in vain.
Later, his family received a report from a vegetable vendor at Congelay Market that Kangrock’s body was found rotting near the market. This forced the family to begin preparations for the funeral.
The family concluded that the man’s body was that of a relative they had been missing for weeks. Kangrock Muimeler, who was a cattle trader, later returned for his funeral. The like-minded people who gathered in the house of the “dead” had to flee without regard for their lives.
Murimeler, who later clarified his suspicions, said that he was indeed alive, not dead, despite his explanations to the family, they were unable to understand and believe him, which surprised him.
