It is only by eating the proper foods at the right times that you may achieve and sustain good health. However, you may not realize that it is also critical to keep in mind specific dietary combinations that can be detrimental. The following article explains why some food combos should be avoided.
Most of us are so preoccupied with our daily lives that we hardly notice what is going on inside our stomachs. Foods that should not be eaten together because they may cause more harm than good are listed below:
1.Alcoholic Sweets. When it comes to alcohol, most of us are very cautious and discreet about eating certain food combinations, and one such combination that can cause problems is having sweets with it. Alcohol causes sugar to be converted into saturated fats, which can readily build up in the body. Green veggies, on the other hand, may be a better option.
2. Dalia and Juice. Most of us think that having a bowl of dalia and a glass of orange juice for breakfast is a healthy and smart choice, but we are completely wrong! This food combination depletes your blood sugar levels by causing an immediate spike, which then drops sharply within a short period of time. Such large swings in blood sugar are harmful to your health.
3.Fried Meat and Eggs. Eggs and fried meat are one of the worst dietary combos for digestion. Though most people enjoy this classic breakfast combination, it might be hard on your stomach. Fried meat, such as bacon, combined with eggs is a high-protein combination that may take a long time for your digestive system to digest. Fresh fruits or vegetables can be substituted for one of them.
4.Beans and Cheese. I know this particular one might sound weird because hardly would someone eat such food but to be on the safer side just don’t eat it. Beans and cheese are a meal combination that can make you feel bloated and gassy. To make digestion easier, keep beans and dairy apart.
5. Food and Water. One of the worst combos is water and meals. This is due to the fact that water tends to dilute stomach acids, which are necessary for digestion. This can strain your stomach and make it work harder to digest the food.
