1) It fights hypoglycemia: Bitter kola helps to fight a condition known as hypoglycemia in people who already have type 2 diabetes. This condition causes their blood sugar to be very low. However, since bitter kola contains kolaviron, it is able to fight this condition.
2) It can fight arthritis and other forms of inflammation: Arthritis is caused by inflammation of the joints. Bitter kola contains enzymes that can reduce inflammation and fight conditions such as arthritis and osteoarthritis.
3) It fights infections: Bitter kola is able to fight infections such as common cold, hepatitis, cough and even bacterial infections.
