According to Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye of the Ghana Health Service Headquarters, Ghana has Recorded its first Case of the most Deadly Omicron Virus variant. According to him, its a sad to know that this Virus is another type of corona virus. However, it’s more Deadly than the fore.
Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye added that the Virus was Recorded among some South African travellers that arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on 21st November 2021. Per the current WHO records, The variant is rampant in South Africa.
Ghana Health Service wishes to announce to the knowledge of the general public that, nobody should take chances in protecting him or herself. They also encouraged citizens who haven’t received the corona virus vaccine to do so. This is because, those with the corona virus injection can stand the new Omicron virus.
We hope and pray that government helps in controlling the Omicron virus so that it doesn’t kill citizens like how corona virus did.
