Barcelona have finally handed out the famous number 10 jersey worn by Lionel Messi at the club to a new player.
Messi left the club for French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain in the just concluded summer transfer window which made the famous jersey number 10 vacant at the club.
Barcelona released an official video on their Twitter page as they claimed Ansu Fati will be the new player to don the number 10 jersey at the club.
Fati is just returning from an injury that kept him out of action for Barcelona for most of last season and he is yet to feature for the club since returning to training.
Fati will hope to continue the legacy Messi achieved with the number 10 jersey at the Catalan club. The young Spanish international has shown to be one of the prospects in European football and he is ready for the challenge put up with the number 10 jersey.
Most fans were expecting the number 10 jersey to be retired at Barcelona due to what Messi did while he was at the Camp Nou.
