The youth has grown to pass the old ways of sitting idle while their leaders take them for granted.

In recent times there has been an uprising by the youth demanding jobs and security from the government.

A Member of Parliament who probably thought he will be hailed for donating rice to help celebrate the Salah festival got booed out of his town by angry youth.

Viral Videos making rounds captured some Ghana youth from the Damongo Constituency rejecting bags of rice from their Members of Parliament.

Information gathered from the grapevine says the Member of Parliament was Hon. Abu Jinapor.

The Member of Parliament was on his usual routine providing his community members with some bags of rice but he was sacked from the community like a thief.

The youth rejected the food items from the MP and boldly asked them to execute the task they voted him into Parliament to do.

The youth demanded that the MP create jobs opportunities so they can better their lives and take care of their families, not to come with food that will last for few days.

This will be the first time the youth have rejected the gifts from the Member of Parliament – we are not in normal times indeed.

Some social media users applauded their bravery and urged Oliver other communities to follow in their footsteps and bring home the minds of their MPs.

Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician, a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency.
